Part 1 - A Standard for Living (John Woodall)

The Greatest Generation. Baby Boomers. Generation X. Millennials. Generation Z. Each generation is distinct from those that came before and those that come after. They have different priorities and different experiences. They see the world differently. It’s easy for the generations to live in conflict and competition. But what is our responsibility to the next generation?

The next generation doesn’t need a better standard of living. It needs a standard for living. It is every generation’s responsibility—and privilege—to pass along the “praiseworthy deeds of the Lord” to generations that follow. When we help the next generation win, we win as well.  Psalm 78:4

Part 2 - Generation iY (Clay Scroggins with Tim Elmore)

The next generation is growing up in a world unlike that of previous generations. They are the first generation that doesn’t need adults for information. But they do need adults for interpretation. What do we need to do to help the next generation to see the world in a way that sets them up for success? How can we help the next gen win?

It’s easy to complain about the next generation. It’s easy to label them spoiled or entitled. But the previous generations helped shape the way Millennials and Homelanders interact with the world around them. We need to stop pointing fingers and commit to helping the next gen win.  1 Chronicles 12:32

Part 3 - Leaving Something Worth Leaving (Dave Ramsey & Rachel Cruze)

Dave Ramsey, and his daughter Rachel Cruze, explore how we manage our finances and how it can hurt or help the next generation and in the process how it can do the same for our current generation. Have you considered what legacy you are leaving for the next generation? Will you be leaving something worth leaving behind?  Galatians 6:4; Proverbs 21:20; 2 Corinthians 9:7

Part 4 - Show Up (Reggie Joiner)

Think about the people who have made a difference in your life. They influenced you for the better. They were there at a crossroads in your life to point you in the right direction. They offered wisdom. They took your side. They cared. Wouldn’t you love to do that for the next generation? If you want to help the Next Gen win, there’s a simple first step.

How to develop empathy: Pause to imagine. Pause to interact.

If you want to influence the next generation for the positive, the first step is simple: show up. In whose life do you need to show up? Don’t miss your unique opportunity to help the next gen win.  Philippians 2:3-7; Hebrews 4:15-16
