Part 1 - Beware of Mouth (Andy Stanley)

All of us have had moments when we wish we could reach out and retrieve the words that just left our tongue. And all of us have had our lives shaped by the words spoken to us. Over and over again we are reminded of their power and how one of the most important skills we can learn is to learn how to constantly monitor them. James 3:2-6; James 3:7-12

Part 2 - Go Ahead & Say It (Sean Seay)

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. It's a cute idiom. But unfortunately, it doesn't ring true for most people. Words have power. Power to build. Power to destroy. We remember the most encouraging and discouraging words that were spoken to us. And in some way, they have shaped us in both healthy and unhealthy ways. So if words have this life-altering power, why not use them to build others up? Why not use them to benefit those who listen? Ephesians 4:29
