Identity is a big idea in our culture. Identity is how you see yourself, what you tell yourself, the concept you have of yourself. It’s important because it drives your decision-making and determines how you navigate life. Do you think poorly of yourself? You’ll make decisions that harm you. Do you think too highly of yourself? You’ll make decisions that are harmful to you and others. Identity is important because you can’t be who you were meant to be if you don’t know who you are. But how do you figure out who you were meant to be?

God has a will for you. He has a plan for you. But you have to believe what he says about you to be able to live out that plan. That can by scary, but you can do what God has for you to do when you see yourself how he sees you. Romans 12:2

Part 2 - Personal Advisory Board (Clay Scroggins)

We all have areas of life where we feel stuck, incompetent, or overwhelmed. Whether it’s trying to get in shape, improve a relationship, pick up new career skills, or break a bad habit, we’ve all experienced the challenge of trying to change. It’s especially difficult when we try to make big changes by ourselves. We can’t get where we want to be without the help of others. If you Swipe Right on this one habit, it will be life-giving and life-preserving.

Do you want to change some area of your life? Someone else knows what you don’t yet know. What kind of person should you be looking for? If you’re going to succeed in changing, you need to find someone wise, accomplished, and available. 1 Peter 5:5
