How do you deal with unethical practices at work? Quests for security, recognition, and progress can cause us to operate under two different ethical standards in our personal and work lives. When we choose to live this way, we potentially lose three things over time: moral authority with our children and spouse; self respect; and the opportunity to know what God could have done. Part 3 - The Corner Office (Andy Stanley)

Employees want a person worth following, and as a boss or supervisor, we are responsible for the people God has entrusted to us. By bringing our Christian values into the work place, we can create a great environment to work in that could change the lives of our employees. We should take the time to work on our own character, and invest into our employees as people. Colossians 4:1, Philippians 2:3

Part 4 - Going Public (Andy Stanley)

Christianity is not supposed to be personal and private; we are to be a light in darkness at our office. We can do this by developing our character, and making sure our light points to God. By shining our light, people should see that it is about a relationship, not a religion.

Part 5 - Paying Your Dues (Andy Stanley)

God has established authority, and works through it to direct and protect us. He often uses non-spiritual or unjust authority to accomplish His will through us. He always uses us where we are to prepare us for what's next. Our response to authority is our response to God.

Part 6 - Leaving Early (Andy Stanley)

Each day we make a decision on how we will spend our time. There is not enough time to do everything that needs to be done. Therefore, something always gets cheated. We need to learn to cheat at work instead of cheating at home. In this final session of Taking Care of Business, Andy Stanley suggests we ask God to fill in the gaps at work, and trust Him to be faithful.
