Part 1 - The Problem With Religion (Andy Stanley)

The problem with religion is that our rules will eventually cause us to be insensitive to people. Christianity is not what goes on around you, but what goes on inside you. All of us were born into sin, but because of what God did, we are not condemned. When He looks at us, we are as righteous as the son of God. Romans 8:1

Part 2 - Finishing How You Started (Andy Stanley)

The Christian life is not a self-improvement program. The goal is to allow Jesus to live His life through us. We can't live the Christian life, only Christ is able to do that. God did not leave us here to adhere to the rules and do good things to win his favor. He sent Jesus to give us life. Romans 8:1-5

Part 3 - Learning To Walk (Andy Stanley)

The Christian life has nothing to do with us, and everything to do with a relationship with God. We are to learn to walk according to the Holy Spirit. Which means we live our lives sensitive to and dependent upon the inner promptings and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8

Part 4 - No Obligations (Andy Stanley)

If you have trusted God as your Savior, you do not have to live as a slave to sin. We are not under any obligation to answer to our flesh or fears. John 14:6; Romans 8:10-14

Part 5 - The Fruit of the Spirit (Andy Stanley)

We need the Holy Spirit to empower us to follow the fruits of the spirit—love, patience, kindness.... We can't do it on our own, but He can do it through us. We need to commit to the process of learning to keep in step with the spirit. Galatians 5

Part 6 - The Work of the Holy Spirit (Andy Stanley)

If we know what the Holy Spirit is doing in us, it makes the learning curve so much easier—God is in the process of transforming our character to match that of Jesus. 2 Corinthians 12:9; James 4:6; John 8:32, 17:17; Romans 12:1-2
