How do you conduct a relationship with an invisible God? Each person has a different style of drawing near to Him. While there is only one path to God through His Son, there are multiple expressions of those styles along the way.
What role does the Bible play in your life? What role do you think it’s supposed to play? God longs for all of us to draw near to Him through His word, and because of our individual styles of worship, incorporating the Scriptures into our daily lives will be different for everyone.
Prayer is connecting and drawing near to God through communication. God wants our prayers to be private, not impressive. Prayer is the expression of our submission to God’s will, and our dependence on His provision.
God wants us to draw near to Him. If we have a broken relationship, or things in our past that have not been reconciled, it will hinder our ability to draw near to God. In order to reconnect with our Heavenly Father, we need to overcome our pride, forgive those who hurt us, and make restitution when possible.
